What's in a Name? According to Wikipedia: “... graftage is a horticultural technique whereby tissues of plants are joined so as to continue their growth together. The upper part of the combined plant is called the scion while the lower part is called the rootstock.”

When founding the company during the early days of the Internet (San Francisco, 1995), our founders chose this metaphor to illustrate our ability to join traditional communications best practices (rootstock) to the then new World Wide Web (scion). Today, Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are the new things, but the metaphor continues to serve us well as we meld our practical experience with our passion for new technologies and learning paradigms.

In business for more than 25 years, we are proud to say we were "virtual" before virtual was cool. We plan to remain at the forefront of industry innovation for years to come.
